PRIMARY PROGRAM

Today I can give a big sigh  of relief.  We  had our Primary Program today in Sacrament meeting. And our Primary did awesome!!!

I am the Primary chorister. The primary program is a big deal cause the songs we’ve been teaching the whole year, they get to perform. 

Even though the kids had to learn 9 new songs, they knew all the songs very well and sung so good and loud.  The last song they sang was a medley of three songs, which were I Feel My Saviors Love, Jesus is My Shepard (one from the Friend), and Beautiful Savior.  Avery got to sing a small solo in it, which she sounded just like an angel doing. There were also 7 other solo parts and a harmony line in the last verse. It was soooo good.

One of my favorite songs I got to teach them was There is Sunshine In My Soul Today.  I also taught them the sign language for that one.  We got to choose two songs this year  with the Savior as the subject.  I did this one and the medley.  It was so cute to hear all the kids singing and doing the signs to there is sunshine in my soul today.  They learned all verses to that one too.

Now that the program is over, I get to teach them MY favorite primary songs for the rest of the year. 

I love this calling. I think it is so important, cause the kids will ALWAYS remember the gospel through their primary songs. And I get to teach them some. It makes me happy. 

I also love that all the primary kids know who I am.  That is fun too.
