BEFORE AND AFTER

Avery looked so cute for church yesterday, I took this picture.  I am so glad I did.  I didn't know it was going to be the last picture with her long hair.
This is this morning.  We all really like it. But I think I will miss it.

1 DAY APART

Yesterday I got to watch my nephew Grady.  He is less than 24 hours older than Jolie.  Look at the difference in size.  He is a big boy and Jolie is my little munchkin. I think he is at the 95% or above for his height and Jolie is in the 5%.
Jolie loves Grady so much, she is all over him.  Usually to the point of grabbing his hair and face and pulling. We're still trying to teach her "soft". But he sure is a tuff boy though.  He has two older brothers that make him that way.
We are so glad she has a great cousin to play with.
Grady wins for best hair.  We call Jolies', orangutan hair.
Aren't they just the cutest.
You can kind of tell they are related.  I walked into the room and this is what I saw.

THE BUMP

Last week Lainey fell and hit her head on the bottom of one of our kitchen chairs.  This is her first real goose egg.  Avery was teasing her and Lainey was trying to get to her to hit her.  She tripped and this is the end result.  She didn't want anyone to look at it, so she kept the ice on it very good.  When I asked her if she wanted to see it, she hesitantly said yes.  So when I handed her the mirror I said "and this is why you need to be nice to your sister".
I said the same thing to Avery, and she felt bad.
Luckily she has bangs.

ALL OF THE BROWNS

At the end of last year, the Browns got together to have family pictures.
Here are just a few of them.
I am so so lucky to have married into such an awesome family.  I love all of them so much.

YEAH FOR SNOW

Friday we went up to Flagstaff to play in the snow.  This hill just next to our old neighborhood has a sledding course.   It winds down a hill pretty far. We were the only ones there.
Besides being windy and cold, we had a fun time.

This is a snowman we made.  The girls named her Ashley.
Lainey loves the snow and sledding.
I'm sitting on a log.  It makes a great chair to watch the sledding.  I went down the hill a few times too.
Jolie doesn't know what to think.  She just knows she is too cold and wants to get out of this snow suit, cause she can't walk around in it.
This is my great action shot.  Notice Morgans hat flaps blowing in the wind.
The sledding course.  It winds and turns all the way down the hill.  This is one of Laineys many turns.
Morgan is holding on so I can get a picture of Lainey taking off, while Jolie is trying to eat the snow.  See her in the black sled off to the side.
Go Avery.  WEEEE!

A fun day trip.

THE BASS PRO SHOP

Before Christmas, my parents had a great idea to take my kids to the Bass Pro Shop.  If you have never been, it is pretty cool.  Especially for kids.   They have tons of things to see.  They have boats, and a bunch of outdoorsy stuff.  And tons of animals.  It is basically a zoo, but they are stuffed.  They do have a large aquarium.  We really went to go sit on Santa's lap, but they wanted us to come back an hour later, no thanks.  But my kids had a blast anyway.
