IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE

I am very glad today.

When Jolie gets into something small she’s not suppose to, she sometimes will bring it to me to show me the something small she’s not suppose to get into.

I’ve had her bring me toothpaste many times, markers, deodorant, candy, lotion. . . The small stuff that can make big messes.  I just say "no no" and take it and put it away high up.  She just loves finding things.  She usually gets her hands on them when her sisters leave them right on the edge of the counter she can reach.

Today she brought me a Sharpey permanent marker!!!

With the cap off!!!

She had taken the cap off and had made one tiny black dot on her lip.  Oh man that could have been a lot worse.  She could have drawn all over herself or my house.  But she did neither.

I’m glad she still brings me the small things to show me what she has gotten into.

Here’s a picture of her I took about a month ago when she brought me the toothpaste.

You are lucky she didn't draw on anything! Trey took a Sharpie in our RENTAL house and drew on the wall and the carpet! I painted over it like 50 times and it still showed through! And, it never came out of the carpet. Good times. Hey, at least it wasn't my own house! :)

books I've read

The Peacegiver: How Christ Offers to Heal Our Hearts and Homes The Peacegiver: How Christ Offers to Heal Our Hearts and Homes by James L. Ferrell

My rating: 3 of 5 stars This was an alright book. Makes you think about the atonement a little deeper and understand some scripture stories better. I thought it was a bit repetitive. Thought the author should have put more of the real story in the book. I liked the description of sin and that we are bound to it and sometimes we don't even know it. This was not a page turning book but i guess I'm glad I read it. View all my reviews >>
