SWEAT

Why is it that every time my hubby comes home from playing basketball, and is drenched in dripping sweat, he wants to give me a big hug and kiss.

I don't let him.

STUFF

I sure have been slaking on my blogging lately.  It has really just been same old - same old around here.  Except I'm getting a little larger in the middle section.
I was released today from my calling in church as the ward camp director :-( I really had a great time last year (except for the puking everyday) and was really looking forward to going again.  But I will be 8 months pregnant when we would have gone, so I said it would be better to get another for the job.  But I still have the greatest calling of all as ward chorister and that still keeps me on my toes.
Here are some funny things my girls have said:
One night we were driving home, and just turned on our street.  There were some teenage boys playing basketball in the street and we had to wait for them to move so we could drive by.  Then Avery says, " get out of the way you brainyacks".  I laughed and asked her what she thought a brainyack was.  She said a teenager up to no good.  I told her no, it was someone who was smart.  OH OH she said.
I heard Lainey and Avery in the kitchen playing a memory card game.  Lainey was upset with something Avery had done.  I heard Lainey yell, "Cheater, cheater, pants on fire."
She had mixed up liar, liar, pants on fire and cheater cheater, pumpkin eater. It was funny.

I also think I blinded everyone today at church with my shinny white, ghostly legs.  I should have worn the pantyhose.  Next time.

Morgan and I cant agree on even three names for the baby. So I told him since he has done his job and now I have to carry and push out the baby, I get to name him or her.  We'll see...

NEW YEARS

I love seeing a good musical now and then.  I thought it would be tons of fun for my girls to go with me.  I asked my sister in law Kelli, another musical lover, if she would like to go with us with her girls.  So we all got tickets for Annie at Gammage on New Years Eve.  I also took  my mom.  I'm not in the picture cause I'm the photographer. It was a great show.
After partying the night away, we went up to my families cabin in strawberry.  This is a picture of the puzzle we started.  This is how much we got done in about 4 hours before we gave up.
We were super excited there was still enough snow to play in.  Jolie loved sledding and eating the snow.  It was a fun family trip. We've got to get more snow clothes.  My girls have already grown out of what we had for them when we lived in Flag.

FINALLY, CHRISTMAS BREAK

Oh my, I am such a slacker on my blog.  I figure I better get moving before I'm even more behind.  Here's the skinny on our Christmas break.

I am so so proud of my girls.  At their school, each class gives four awards out every quarter.  There are two "Student of the Quarter", and two "Star Students".  Lainey was given the student of the quarter award, and Avery was given the star student award.
Super proud am I.
(Can you see my mom in the back ground? Funny!)
I love the Sunday before Christmas.  I always get my girls extra pretty that day.

We had all my siblings in town this year for Christmas.  It gets very noisy at my parents house, with all the grand kids running around playing.  But it is such good times.
Jolie loves her grandparents. Here she is hangin' with my dad on the love sack at one of our many meals together at my parents house.
Lainey and her cousin both lost a tooth in the same month.
This is our cousin from Utah, Whitney.  She is just a few months older than Lainey.  She came over to our house and played all day one day.  I heard Lainey say more than a few times, "I just love Whitney."
Even living a thousands of miles away, we still love, but miss, our cousins.
I made many sugar cookies this year. I think it took about 3 hours to finish these.
They were delicious. I hope the lucky people we gave them to liked them.
My mom got these cute mini gingerbread houses for us all to have fun decorating together.
 The kids loved it.
My gorgeous niece Danny.
Decorating, decorating.  I think some of the candy ended up on the house and not in the mouths of the kids.
Lainey's finished house.  She really wanted to eat it that night, but I said she had to wait till after Christmas.
Avery was very proud of her house too.

This is our newest addition to the Woolf family.  We have been waiting 11 months to meet her.  Ester lives in Omaha. This is my oldest brother's baby.  She is absolutely adorable.
Most of the grand daughters.  My sister's twins were asleep.
We took family pictures.
Here's just the grand kids with my parents.
I like to say that they all won the grandparent lottery
On Christmas Eve, my mom likes to dress up the grandkids in the nativity scene. Just for pictures.  Then we all sing songs and read the Christmas story together.
It is always better when all my brothers and sisters and sisters in laws are here to sing with us.  I must say we do sound very very good singing together.
My kids dressed in there new PJs, ready for Santa to come.
Silly girls.
Jolie LOVED opening her presents. She would rip of little strips of wrapping paper, one at a time.  It was worth the wait to see her face when she saw all her new fun toys.
She loves Barney.  Unfortunately this one plays only one song over and over.  It is very annoying.
The after math of our Christmas at our own home. Then we set off to my parents house first, followed my Morgans next.
My favorite part of Christmas morning is the crepes my dad makes.  I think he said he 16X the recipe to make all the crepes we would eat.  We all love them.
My mom.  She was super excited to find out I am expecting.  It took about 20 minutes for anyone to notice Jolies "big sister" shirt.  I even had to point it out.  But it was fun.

Morgan's mom made each grandchild 4 different pillow cases and gave them all a new pillow.  So fun.  She was a busy sewer this year.
After all the present opening and grand parents houses, we went home to get ready for the extended family dinners.  It was a busy, fun filled Christmas.
I also need to add that Morgan was very sweet and thoughtful about the gifts he gave me and spoiled me this year.  Thanks sweety. (he'll never see this).
