b-day party in halloween costumes

I was thinking that it would be fun do put some things on here that happened before I started this blog.  Like Halloween and Avery and Lainey’s birthday party.

We had a dress-up party at Peter Piper Pizza for Avery and Lainey.  We had all their cousins attend.  Since it was just a few days before Halloween, we had all the kids wear there costumes so we could check them all out.  They all looked awesome running around.

Avery and Laineys cousin Whitney who lives in Utah gave them a whole box of dress up clothes, so we didn’t even need to go shopping for costumes this year.  Thanks Whitney.

Avery was a super pretty princess and Lainey looked cute in her ASU cheerleader outfit.

Jolie only would wear the hallow for a few seconds.  I was lucky to get even a few good shots of her in her angel outfit.  She really is our little angel.
Morgan never dresses up. So its just us girls.

This is my day, my baptism day.

We had a wonderful day today.  Avery was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.  She was super excited to be finally baptized.  She had to wait a few extra weeks due to the sad passing of my grandpa Wilber.  But due to the delay, Avery got to get baptized with her favorite cousin Afton.  It was a fun night with friends and family. Avery has set a good example for her sisters when they turn 8.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Last night Morgan took Avery to her schools annual Daddy Daughter Dance.  They had tons of fun dancing the night away.  It was a special night I'm sure they will both remember for a long time.

ornaments

Here are the ornaments I got last night at my ornament exchange party.  I made 20 of the same ornament and traded them.  I got all these in return.  I think they are all super cute.

Here they are on my tree.  Yeah!!
This is what it looks like with out the chairs barricading it so Jolie doesn't destroy it.

ornament exchange party

Tonight I am going to an ornament exchange party.  A friend in my ward organized it.  She got a group of 20 ladies and we all had to make 20 home made Christmas ornaments.  Then we all get together and exchange ours for theirs.  So we all get 20 different home made ornaments.  I made these red tassels.  I think they turned out alright.  I am excited to see what all the other ladies came up with. We'll see.  It should be tons of fun.

Frontier Homestead Project

Avery is a goofy girl.

All the second graders at Avery's school had to do a "frontier homestead project".

It had to be on a 12X12 platform and needed a house, water source, cooking area, corral, and a garden.  If you included all five items your grade is a 4, for four items your grade is 3, and so on.  Avery's project had all five.  I think it turned out awesome.  I..., I mean WE worked long and hard on it this weekend.
